ISO 45001 (Registration Number 0026) – UKAS Accredited​

ISO 45001 is an ISO standard for management systems of occupational health and safety (OH&S), published in March 2018. The goal of ISO 45001 is the reduction of occupational injuries and diseases, including promoting and protecting physical and mental health.



NEBOSH is the “National Examination Board in Occupational Safety & Health”, an international organisation which offers leading health and safety qualifications. Over 400,000 people world-wide have gained a qualification from NEBOSH since it was founded in 1979, each having gained a professionally recognised and respected qualification.



IOSH stands for Institution of Occupational Safety and Health, the Chartered body for health and safety professionals. IOSH is a UK-based organisation offering professional qualifications in order to raise standards of health and safety in the workplace.


CHAS - The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme

CHAS is established as the market leader for health and safety pre-qualification in the UK. It is a non-commercial scheme available to suppliers and to organisations looking for suitably competent suppliers. CHAS is dedicated to completing health and safety pre-qualification assessments to a nationally recognised and accepted threshold standard and is a founder member and of Safety Schemes in Procurement.

SSIP - Safety Schemes in Procurement

SSIP was created as an umbrella organisation that facilitates mutual understanding and recognition between different health and safety schemes to ensure uniformity. One of the most important functions of the SSIP forum is to advise procurement teams on how to interpret different health and safety standards in the UK and whether they are meeting the requirements for both preferred supplier lists and individual contracts. This process streamlines the tender process for both buyers, helping them create a more cost-effective process of identifying suitable suppliers, and companies, by providing automatic prequalification for contracts within their sector and capabilities.
